Pronouncing plural nouns and third person

Notice that:

  • We pronounce /s/ after voiceless consonants like /f/, /k/, /p/, /t/, /θ/.
  • We pronounce /z/ after voiced consonants like /b/, /d/, /g/, /l/, /m/, /n/, /ŋ/, /r/, /v/, /ð/.
  • We pronounce /iz/ after sibilant consonants like /s/, /z/, /ʃ/, /ʒ/, /tʃ/, /dʒ/.

Write the following verbs in third person and classify them according to their pronunciation:
