Notice that:
- We pronounce /s/ after voiceless consonants like /f/, /k/, /p/, /t/, /θ/.
- We pronounce /z/ after voiced consonants like /b/, /d/, /g/, /l/, /m/, /n/, /ŋ/, /r/, /v/, /ð/.
- We pronounce /iz/ after sibilant consonants like /s/, /z/, /ʃ/, /ʒ/, /tʃ/, /dʒ/.
